Outfit Post: Sweater Weather

The weather lately has been playing tricks on us..one day its very cold and rainy and the next its really hot.Deciding on what to wear can be tricky because you can leave the house all dressed up warm in a sweater or jacket then out of the blues  the sun comes out and its really hot!You end up looking over dressed which can be embarrassing sometimes. All the same around this time in Nairobi its usually cold especially in July,i would advise you to buy enough warm outfits for July.
On Sunday it was really cold,i decided to wear my sweater dress and stockings.

Lupita Nyong'o on the cover of U.S Vogue July issue

Lupita Nyong'o is gracing the covers of Vogue Magazine for the first time. She looks so gorgeous! In the July issue she talks about her life, her family and her love for acting.Check out Vogue.com for the whole story. In the meantime enjoy this fashionable photos of her as seen in Vogue's July issue,i cant wait to get a copy of it!

Outfit Post: Red Jacket & Nude pumps

The colour red gives me life i wont lie,its my favourite colour. The weather hasn't been so good in Nairobi its the "Kenya winter season"so to speak.I wore this fitting red jacket and black leather like leggings and my nude pumps which i have worn them before here .
When the weather is cold  its best to layer your outfits to keep warm & stay stylish.Layering with pants is very easy..all you need is a fitting jacket and some nice pants it can be jeans or leggings whichever makes you comfortable and a scarf, very simple huh...if you want to look stylish play with colours like colour blocking the whole outfit.

Deacons Fashion Event

The Models on the runway were none other than Truworths staff.I leave you with photos on how the event was.

Outfit Post:A weekend Affair

Thank God its Friday! Its been a long week for me,too much work and not forgetting the bills that need to be paid.I work hard and play harder. When am going out this one of the dresses i usually wear,i tend to find short dresses quite ideal for a night out. This same dress i have worn it differently before here .I paired it with orange heels and a colour blocked clutch bag.

Outfit Post : The Perfect Dress

"You're clothes should be tight enough to show you are a woman but loose enough to show you're a lady"Marilyn Monroe...I couldn't agree more with her.I love fitting dresses because am petite and tend to prefer dresses that show my "curves" so to speak. When i tried this mini dress on i liked it but i loved it more when  i paired them with my ankle boots. Its a really fun outfit and the colours on it are happy colours that give you an instant happy mood.

What i wore to FAFA

I was really not sure of what to wear on this big day,so i decided to design this simple outfit and thank God i have an awesome tailor who makes my outfits as i want them. You see when it comes to attending fashion events most of my outfits are usually custom made i prefer it that way as its cheaper to get a tailor to do my dress compared to buying it from the shop and furthermore if you want your outfit to be outstanding its better to design it yourself.

Festival for Fashion And Arts(FAFA) took place over the weekend on 31st May 2014 at The Oval Westlands and i must say the event was a success.Fashion lovers turned up in huge numbers and for sure most of the people who attended were dressed for the occasion. The designers did a fantastic job as the designs showcased on the catwalk fell nothing short of fabulousity, you could tell that the designers indeed worked tirelessly on their collection.I was really impressed.I won't say much now i will let the photos speak on my behalf.
